7 minutes is a long track. i can barely get four minutes without my tracks sounding too repetitive. you have a lot of smooth transitioning that easily makes up for a lack of variation in your bass section. the atmosphere is superlative.
drums in your introduction are a bit plain, however. add some overdrive or compression and make the volume louder. because they're so dull, it just seeps into the background more than it should. the snares sound a ton better after the drop.
the bass is also really deep. it's dynamic and neuro-like; it could use some pitch changes and more distorted sections to change it up a bit, though. that smooth sub feel is inconceivable.
incredible work, man.
Wow man, thank you!
Yeah, post-production listens had me thinking that the intro drums could use a tad more volume, but they're the beat-matching section before the drop... I could also lower that synth, and that snare roll a tiny bit, because that's where that bassline bends/glides up with a filter and sounds gnarly... XD
I'm glad you liked this, man. Yeah, I know my tracks are lengthy, but I spin them out at parties, and they need to be of considerable/appropriate length for mixing. :P
