Better than Most of the Drum and Bass Here

This is better than most of the drum and bass songs here, in my opinion. I'm a huge lover of drum and bass, but it's sad how hard it is to get any attention around even for some of the songs in other genres. I can't believe how you only got two reviews for this.

I feel so lifted and energized listening to this, and I just love every single sound in it. This is some fine work.

Just FL Studio Drum Loops

What is this other than a collection of FL Studio drum loops? I don't want to seem like a bad person, but this is one of the easiest things to make and you should have actually used the Fruity Slicer and made some of your own patterns with the drum sounds instead of just leaving them how they are. You could have also added some filters to make them more interesting.

I'm not even going to get to the actual drum and bass genre part of this, since it's very obvious that there is no bass at all. It's clear what you were doing here and I don't mean to seem like a jerk for giving you a low rating, but there's nothing to this even as a real song.

Mind the year this track was created. And also mind the description. "Simple rhythms". Yes, I used the preset drums from FL Studio as more of a test on what I could make. Mind me, I can be much better.

Clean

Clean is how I describe this, mainly because of how all these simple sounds just flow so well. I normally dislike the use of those FL Studio drum loops because they are so overused, but in this case, I feel that they fit in perfectly.

The fact that this is a Tetris remix gets my respect for you. It's hard to get all the notes right, and you actually managed to almost completely fit a song like that into a hip-hop song. I could almost picture this with vocals.

Even for a loop, I feel there should be some sort of build up in it. However, it's pretty decent how it is. I don't think you really need to work on anything, but I'd like this to be just a bit slower maybe. It's sad how the audio portal has people who don't appreciate the real value of some songs, so I voted five.

i was going to program my own drums, but "effecting" a loop seemed to fit so well.

i have loved the tetris tune for so long....some day i will record me playing it on guitar.

No Problems

I really wish it was possible for me to help you, but I'm sorry to say that this is spectacular. There really are no problems, in my opinion. For a preview, I'm astonished. All I can do right now is wait for the full version.

Not One of Your Best

This really isn't one of your best drum and bass songs, but it's alright. For some reason, the bass sounds slightly annoying to me and there doesn't seem to be too much of a variety of different things here. I understand that there are some really interesting sounds, but I don't feel like this is all that spectacular.

However, I'm giving you an eight out of ten because I can picture this fitting into a game very well.

Superb

I love the pad and the sub-bass rhythm for the beginning. The weird beep sound is really unique and is a great touch to this song. I also really like how you make such strong and affective build ups; I need to learn how to do that. This song has some strange feeling to it and that goes with the title, yet I'm still not sure about it. This is a superb song. I feel that Pyromaniac was better, but I still enjoyed this.

Impressive and Professional

This is seriously impressive. It is one of the most professional drum and bass songs on Newgrounds, in my opinion. I love the beginning because of the firework sounds and at around 3:46, I was completely amazed. The drums fit in perfectly and the bass is simple, yet unique.

There was no way this song deserved a 2.49, so I voted five to bring it up to 3.00.

Great Style

I do believe this is a great style as well. It's not often that you'll hear a drum and bass song like this. The one thing I hate about people who try to pull of stuff similar to this is that they usually forget a bass. You could've added a reese bass because it could've worked, but the sub-bass is okay. Make more trancey drum and bass.

In case you haven't, check out "Twisted Realms," it's a trancey drum and bass track I made last year before I learned how to make reeses and stuff. It was one of my earlier tries at drum and bass, and it became my most popular song on Newgrounds lol.

Not Drum and Bass

No, this is not drum and bass. There is no bass, and it's too slow. I like this song, but you should change the genre. I agree with DuDe-PaNtHeR; this is more of a modern hip hop song.

Could Have Done Better

This song is decent, but I feel that you could have done a little better. I feel that the bass is too quiet, or just not strong enough. Either way, work on it. Also, I found it to be kind of annoying to listen to the same drum loop with the Amen up until 1:30. It would have been better with some slight variations (or what I normally prefer), so glitchy stuff. The fact that this is so melodic is interesting, however, and for that I'm giving you an eight.
